What kind of back carrier is that? The one we have has no head support, and I don’t think Sammie B would be comfortable in it for a long hike, so we’ve never used it. It looks like yours comes up a little higher. Thanks!
It’s an old Kelty Kids carrier, a hand-me-down from my sister’s family. I don’t think they make this kind anymore — when it broke last year, my husband looked all over for a replacement part to no avail (he ended up just gluing it, I think).
The head support isn’t stellar even in this one, though. They are never out long before Joe gets sleepy and slumps over sideways. Then the strap starts chafing his little face, so they turn back!
