Inspired by a beautiful set of photos from the Vanity Fair Oscar party, Joe and I rearranged the living room, fired up the flash and went for a moody look. I love this boy.

Lia and some mom friends teamed up for a bowl-a-thon today to support the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Joe and I were the cheering section. I mostly took pictures, and Joe just wanted to spit game, pitch woo and generally mack on any young lady withing a short, slow walk. First it was Lia’s friends, then he caught the eye of five cute girls in the next lane and off he went. They were terrific, and even wanted their picture taken with him. He sure can spot cool people.

Tomorrow will be the coldest morning in the past 20 years here. Joe has been out of school all week between the holiday and snow. Lots of couch time, with his good friend the iPad.

Lots of snow here, and we all had the day off. The roads were bad but it was an otherwise beautiful day, so we spent some time outside, where Joe is king.

But most of the day we stayed inside. Where Joe is also king.
