Rime time

This week’s expedition was to the Mariners’ Museum in Newport News, Va.

This is an incredible museum, wonderfully done and really large in scope. Joe and I highly recommend it if you like history, boats or anything related to life at sea.

Just chillin’ in a lifeboat. Chewing khat, waiting on snipers.

Sick Day!

Joe has a cold, which was a great excuse for both of us to stay home. He was a hellion for a couple of hours, but most of the day was spent on the couch.

Fridge magnets are good and all, but they’re better on the floor. In another room.

The Arc South of the James had a meeting tonight with three members of the Virginia General Assembly. Delegates Kirk Cox, Rosalyn Dance and Riley Ingram answered questions and got some great input in advance of the next session starting in a couple of months. Plenty of photos here.

Joe had some things to say, but mostly he just worked the room.

“I’m out of order?!”
