While we were at my parents’ house before the cruise, Joe discovered a new favorite food in Papa’s stash of lunch meats:

Braunschweiger. It’s liver sausage. Bleh.

But he loves it! So yesterday, I dropped two of them into our shopping cart at Kroger.

Also high on his list these days:

• macaroni and cheese
• mashed potatoes (also serves as glue for the peas that would otherwise roll away)
• oatmeal with heavy cream and maple syrup

At last check, ice cream was still not a hit; he seems annoyed by the temperature. Ah, well – more for us!
